Mista Perez's Imagine If Comics Cover #9 BATMAN 89 vs Spider-Man ( The Black Costume )

I have been sitting on this one for a few months. I started with a simple sketch and I ran with it. Secret Wars had to be the second biggest Marvel Comics event other then The Contest Of Champions in the 80's. When I saw Spider-Man appear in a black costume in 1984 I was in Blossom " Whoa" mode. It was a simple design but it worked. 
A few years pass and then 1989 arrives with a bang BATMAN appeared in theaters. I was in awe of the visual and style Tim Burton had for Batman. The movie still works even now. 
I decided to bring 2 of my favorite childhood memories of comic book characters to life in one cover.
I hope you all enjoy this cover as much as I had fun drawing it.

    Nice bro. However, though fans of both of them, no way Batman takes Spider-man. LOL

      You just might be right...however, in this version of Spidey the black symbiote costume made him a bit confused in his decisions.
      This would be a close one Batman 89 got beat up by one of the Jokers Henchmen at the end of the movie. Now that I think of it. Spidey Wins.
